Volunteering with us
Each year the skies above Jersey host a spectacular air display, free to watch for visitors and locals alike. The Jersey International Air Display is made possible through the support, dedication, and participation of our many volunteers who give their time freely. We do our best to accommodate volunteer requests, but please understand that we can’t always place every volunteer in their desired area.
We’d love to have you join our team and share the excitement!
Our online registration is now open for
2025 Volunteers
Can you help make this event possible?
What’s in it for you?
- Specific training briefing is required – this comes with new skills!
- Lunch & beverages provided
- A great experience as an ambassador for the Jersey International Air Display, and Island of Jersey
- Volunteer/community service hours for student programs
In 2025, we are looking for a range of roles, including but not limited to:
- Corporate Hospitality Guest Services – We have opportunities to serve and support around the Corporate Marquee in Lower Park on the day of the event.
- Ground Operations – These positions help keep the show running smoothly and can include a variety of tasks on and around the airfield. Having a Ports of Jersey Airport Identity Card (AIC) , and/or a valid vehicle driving licence are ideal, but not essential, as it will otherwise limit areas to support.
- Safety Marshals – Safety volunteers operate alongside local police and security personnel to keep our show and guests safe in the main display arena along Victoria Avenue and the access points onto St Aubin’s bay. This includes a variety of duties across the event grounds. Volunteers for this crew must be 18 years or older.
- Setup & Takedown – Much of the most critical work to make the event possible happens long before our planes take to the sky. From May through end of September, many preparations are made to ready our equipment and infrastructure, and then restore it again. This can include, Painting & construction projects, Equipment & facility repairs etc.
With your help we can put on arguably one of the finest free air shows in Europe – Volunteer and be part of it!
