Puma & Lynx Arrival (1999)

The Peoples Park Static Display remains a popular attraction during the Air Display. The close proximity to the display arena and the chance to talk to the crews throughout the afternoon proves to be a great crowd puller.

The aircraft fly in early morning on Display Day and are on the ground throughout the day. In 1999 the Puma suffered a slight technical problem prior to it's departure from the park. Thankfully the crew managed to sort the problem out before dark.

The 2000 display consisted of a Chinook, Sea King (Commando) and Bell412. I was unable to take any photos last year and would be gratefull for any that readers may have taken.
