Mike got back from his travels early this morning so here is a quick update.
We have lost the Black Cats but gained an AWACS, T28, Paris, Tunnan, Saab 105 or Sk60 and there is an outside chance that the Lockheed Electra may make a flypast. BBMF confirm Spitfire and Hurricane but Mike is still pushing for the Lancaster. He is also working hard on securing a B52.
So here is the Official line up as of 21st July 2008:
MILITARY RAF Grob Tutor RAF Shorts Tucano RAF BAE Systems Hawk RAF Hawker Beech King Air B200 RAF Boeing Vertol Chinook RAF Boeing E-3D Sentry AWACS RAF Eurofighter Typhoon RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team RAFAT Red Arrows (44th consecutive appearance) Patrouille de France Boeing B-52 Stratofortress TBC
WARBIRDS Avro Vulcan B.2 RAF BBMF Spitfire RAF BBMF Hurricane RAF BBMF Dakota Scandinavian Historic Flight A-26 Invader Scandinavian Historic Flight P-51 Mustang Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress Pink Lady North American B-25 Duke of Brabant / Royal Netherlands Air Force Historic Flight North American T-28S Fennec North American OV-10B Bronco Morane Saulnier MS-760 Paris Saab J-29 Tunnan Saab 105 / Sk60
CIVIL TRANSPORTS Antonov AN-2 De Havilland Heron TBC Lockheed L-188 Electra TBC
That should be enough to wet everyones appetite. The line up is almost complete, Mike is still working on a couple of more unusual items but timing may be an issue along with the usual funding problems.
Still nothing confirmed for Peoples Park but rumour has it that 653 Squadron may be back with a couple of Lynx at least. I will let you all know as soon as I do!
